Ship Shape
In the summer of 2000 I created a "service entrance" to the King of Peace website at kingofpeace.org/ entrance/ to list needs of the Diocese of Georgia's new mission and show where those needs were met by donations. One thing on the needs list went unfulfilled and eventually, I deleted it from the still existing service entrance page. The picture of that wish list item is still found here at our website after all these years: kingofpeace.org/ images/smallboat.jpg. The wish was for a wooden boat for kids to play upon. We have been given just such a piece of playground equipment for the cost of picking it up from Sea Island. The boat is taking shape at the church thanks to Geoff Wills who has worked on the project through the pain, and probable scar of a screw-gun incident. Thanks Geoff. And Thanks Be to God for the wished-for ship. It is arriving as prayed for, 9.5 years after the prayers were first prayed. It is, I should note, a larger version of the one hoped for.
peace,

Trying on names...I have heard it referred to as an ark....but isn't it more like...The Discipleship?
