Child Safety Awareness Day May 3
working on the Ware County Blaze
The above video is just a recent example of how our local emergency services personnel work day and night to help keep us safe. King of Peace is teaming up with the various emergency service agencies in Camden County for a
May 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
There will be solid information for children and parents on how to stay safe including stranger danger, gun safety, internet safetybike safety, electical safety, boat safety and much more. Fire trucks, police cars, a Coast Guard boat, the D.A.R.E. vehicle, and the fire safety house are just part of the exhibits that will be on hand. There will be free food and a free train ride in addition to the information being presented in age appropriate ways to both parents and children through teens.
Please share this information with everyone you know in Camden County. The emergency service personnel have information that can save lives. They want a chance to teach us all to be safer and King of Peace Episcopal Church and Day School are opening up our facilities to make room for this important day. Our own Gril Scouts and Boy Scouts will be helping out with the event as well.
Please park on the grass at Camden County High School alongside King of Peace and walk over as our entire grounds will be used for the Child Safety Awareness Day.
