Faith whether stormy or fair

During today's session of Living Water, the kids will learn about Jesus walking on the water and his post-resurrection breakfast on the beach with his disciples. In both stories, the disciples found themselves in turmoil and in both of these stories we see that Jesus is present with us in our troubles and wants our faith to be a resource when things go bad as well as when everything is going well. Of course, the problem is that we need faith to weather the sunny periods as well as faith to weather the storm. For some of us are more likely to turn to God when the bottom falls out than when everything seems to be going our way.
