Make room for a savior
We set up our own Bethlehem Village
As our Kids in the Kingdom Week continues, the theme Tuesday was "Make Room for a Savior." We learned that when Mary and Joseph got to Bethlehem, there was no room in the inn. The couple ended up in a cave used as a stable for animals. We also talked about how if our lives get so busy that we don’t make time for God, we too have no room in the inn. Making time to read the Bible, or attend church, or pray are ways that we can make room for a savior in our lives.
The kids also made cucumber-yogurt dip for bread and vegetables, found out about an ancient form of hopscotch played by Roman soldiers, made a mezzuzah and much more.
As you can see, it's as much fun for the leaders as the kids. Today's handout is online here: Bethlehem Star: Tuesday.
